Free MMO space simulator

Star Conflict is a video game developed by Star Gem Inc. This massively multiplayer space simulator puts players into space where they engage in a widespread interplanetary skirmish. The game is free to play and comes with various playable modes.

Star Conflict will remind players of the game Crossout. However, instead of cars, players will pilot dozens of different spaceships. You will also build fleets by collecting parts and game credits. However, while the game offers both PvP and PvE modes, the PvE mode does not carry the fast-paced action of PvP. It also feels uninventive.

Play against worlds

Star Conflict is an MMO set in space. As mentioned, it simulates a widespread interplanetary skirmish, where you control your own fleet of spaceships as you take command and complete various PvE missions solo or with your team. The game offers a sandbox open-world you can explore as you complete your missions. Note that each mission has several stages, and each stage has special conditions.

The game also offers fast-paced PvP battles. This mode pits two opposing teams tasked to perform specific tasks, such as capturing all beacons or destroying all enemy ships. There are several PvP modes, each having different combat missions, terms, and conditions. Moreover, the number of players in each team depends on the game mode. However, the server divides the players into teams according to their level and skill.

This MMO game comes from the studio that released War Thunder. With this, you can expect to see great visuals. The animations are buttery smooth, and the environments are rich with detail. However, as you play along, you will find the PvE mission repetitive and uninventive. The AI in this mode is not particularly challenging. Additionally, the difficulty only lies in the number of ships you have to destroy.

Still a fantastic space battle

Long story short, Star Conflict offers a beautiful jaunt through the galaxy. It has a typical space simulation premise, but it manages to execute its ideas amazingly. It has various modes you can play solo or with friends. You also have a detail-rich sandbox open world you can explore. Aside from its rather lackluster PvE, it is a shining example of what a free-to-play game should be.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
